More people access maps on their mobiles
JodiA new study has revealed that many more people are accessing maps via their mobile phones. The comScore report, based in America, found that 14% of mobile users accessed maps on their mobile phones in April, as the mobile map audience reached 33.5 million users. This amounts to a huge 44% increase on last year.
Figures also revealed that
more mobile users are accessing maps via apps rather than the browsers.
As more and more people utilise their mobile phones for internet and apps access it will be interesting to see how the UK follows – and what the usage will be like in a year’s time. We reckon it’ll be massive.
